 Britney Spears semakin menancapkan posisi sebagai artis seksi di jagad
hiburan. Setelah menggarap klip single kontroversialnya, ‘If U Seek
Amy’, lewat lakon ibu rumahtangga nan seksi. Klip single pertama
Britney, ‘Womanizer’, dinobatkan sebagai klip terseksi sepanjang 2008
oleh majalah ‘Playboy’.
Klip ‘The Princess of Pop’ tersebut memang sedikit cabul. Britney tampil tanpa busana di dalam kamar mandi uap. Klip seksi ibu
dua anak itu berhasil menggulingkan klip Kanye West lewat single
‘Flashing Lights’. Klip milik The BPA (Brighton Port Authority) alias
Norman Cook, alias Fatboy Slim, yang bertajuk ‘Toe Jam’ juga
digulingkan oleh klip ‘Womanizer’ Britney.
Sementara, album
reunian ‘Metallica’, ‘Death Magnetic, mendapat pujian responden. Album
band cadas asal AS itu didaulat ‘Playboy’ sebagai Best Rock Album.
Album penyanyi hip hop Lil Wayne menambah gengsinya lewat penghargaan
Best Hip Hop Album oleh majalah pria dewasa itu. Sementara, album
‘Portishead’, kelompok musik asal Bristol, Inggris, digelari Best
Electronic Album untuk ketiga kalinya.

‘I Kissed A Girl’ menjadi lagu terfavorit sepanjang tahun 2008. Daftar
